Bread Pizza Pockets | Pizza Pockets

Bread Pocket Pizza is an easy and instantly made,Perfect kids snack.I just used ketchup instead of pizza sauce ,cut sausages and some cheese. Just assemble everything give a egg wash and bake it.This time i used whole grain bread,than the white bread this browns faster and healthier too. Also you can make the same with sweet version with any combination of fruits and jams's.Here is the Recipe from Dhivis Pantry - Bread Pocket Pizza.

Pizza Pockets

Recipe Cuisine: International | Recipe Category: Snacks
Preparation Time:25 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients


Bread slices-4

Any Sausage | Hot-dog -1( or replace any cooked meat)

Pizza Sauce | Pasta Sauce | Ketchup- 2 tbsp

Cheese -2 slices(Mozzarella preferred)

Egg - 1

Method:

  1. In a bowl add egg and whisk it -for egg wash and to seal the bread.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius for 5 mins .
  3. 2 add
  4. Now   DeCrust the bread and spread pizza sauce on the bread.
  5. Arrange mozzarella cheese and sliced sausage on top of it.
  6. 2 add
  7. Apply egg wash on the edges and corners of the bread, so it will help to seal the edges completely.
  8. 2 add
  9. Now place another bread slice on top of it to cover and crimp the edges with fork.
  10. Brush the egg wash on the top layer and bake it till golden.

Notes:

  • Use long variety of bread for good finishing. or don't dump the stuffing like me.
  • Stuffing is purely optional ,u can use any thing veg or non-veg ,which u will be using for pizza's.Also any left over chicken meat too.
  • you can also use ketchup instead of pizza sauce. Some.Some times when i don't have pizza sauce i use to make a home made mixture with available ingredients like (ketchup+olive oil+ finely chopped garlic+chili flakes).
  • You can also make sweet pockets with any fruits , jam's and nut butter's.Banana and nutella is my fav combination..;)

Soft Eggless Ladi Pav Bread Buns Recipe

Pav Bread | Bread Rolls.When i tryed bread for first time it came hard but the smell from the bread was very nice.Then after that for  my next attempt i saw many videos to get perfect bread,one of the videos which helped me in getting perfect bread was Cooking Shooking.The result was just amazing.I can't believe my self about the result. Very very soft bread than the store bought one.I have given step by step detailed recipe here ,so that it will be easy for beginners.

Eggless Pav Bread Rolls

Recipe Cuisine: Indian | Recipe Category: Baking
Preparation Time:2 hrs | Serves: 10-12

Ingredients


Maida/All Purpose Flour /Plain Flour/Wheat flour- 2 cups

Milk-3/4 cup or more

Sugar-

Instant Yeast-2 tsp

Milk Powder- 1 & 1/2 tbsp

Butter-4 tsp

Salt-1 tsp

Sugar-1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Warm the milk with sugar(the milk shouldn't be too hot.it should be luke warm).Once the sugar dissolved completely(Using sugar to feed the yeast ,so that it will be active),add the yeast and mix well till it dissolved.
  2. Now keep it coverd with some big bowl and allow it for 10 mins.After 10 mins the yeast will rised and it looks frothy(refer the pic ).If your yeast is not raised then dont use it(it means the yeast is not active).

  4. Now sieve the the flour,milk powder,salt and transfer the flour to a clean kitchen slap/platform and make a well in the center .Now add the frothy yeast mixture slowly and mix it well.
  5. The dough should be sticky,if not add some more water to make it sticky and start kneading using your palms.
  6. It will take around 10 mins to knead the dough,add the butter little by little in between.every time when you add the butter ,the dough will be sticky again.
  7. Add all the butter and finally you get a perfect dough which is not sticky.

  9. Now grease the bowl with oil and keep the dough covered using a towel/cloth and keep the covered dough in a warm place(the best place to keep is inside your oven) for about 1 hour.
  10. After 1 hour the dough will be raised fully ,now add some flour on top to avoid sticking and knead once again to make a dough
  11. Now make equal size balls and arrange it in a greased pan with some gaps to raise(square pan is best for pav but i dont hav ,so used round one)-Refer pic.
  12. Now again covered with towel and allow it to raise for 45 mins(after 30 mins remove from oven and keep it outside ,so that we can preheat the oven).
  13. Preheat the oven for 200 degree celcius for about 10 mins.
  14. Now brush the dough with milk or egg (for browning).Make sure to apply very gently else the bread will shrink.
  15. Now keep the pan inside and bake it for about15 -20 mins.

  17. Insert a stick and check whether done.
  18. Once done remove from the oven and apply some butter on top(which helps to keep the bread soften).
  19. Allow it to cool and enjoy your pav bread with pav bhaji masala....

Notes:

  • I have used 1 cup maida and 1 cup wheat flour here.
  • Kneading is important for good result.
  • The actually recipe in cooking shooking got 16 pav's.The no of pav's depends on the size of the balls you make.
