Maravalli Kizhangu Poriyal | Tapioca Stir Fry

A Simple Fry it is, yet healthy as it is rich in carbohydrate.Serve this as a sidedish or a evening snack .My grandma prepare tapioca often by just cooking it with salt and we just eat this with sugar.After came to work ,its rare to have tapioca for me.And now i preparing this often,as i want Shn to taste al types of food...:) . 


Maravalli Kizhangu Poriyal | Tapioca Stir Fry

Ingredients


Maravalli kizhangu /Tapioca-1

Small onion-10-12

Curry Leaves-few

Red chilli-2-3

Mustard-1/2 tsp

Channadal-1 tbsp

Oil-1 tbsp

Turmeric-1/2 tsp

Cocunut-2tbsp(op)

Method:

    2 add
  1. remove the skin of tapioca and pressure cook it with salt and turmeric for 3-4 whistles .
  2. Now cut the cooked tapico into cubes roughly..
  3. In a hot pan add oil,mustard,channadal,chilli once splutters add onion and curry leaves .
  4. 2 add
  5. Once the onion is cooked add the tapioca and mix well.
  6. Add turmeric and sprinkle very little ater and mix well. .
  7. Adjust salt if you want and no need to cook for long as the tapioca is cooked already ,make sure its mixed well and switch off..

Notes:

  • Use grated cocunut at last if you want.
  • Turmeric is option while pressure cooking..
