Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients
Paneer/Cottage Cheese -1 cup
Tomato-2
Fresh Cream/Milk-1/2 cup
Ginger & Garlic paste-1 tbsp
Garam Masala Pwdr-1/2 tsp
Kashmiri Red chilli pwdr-1 tsp
Methi Leaves-1 tsp
Cashew-3
Butter-2 tbsp
Cumin-1/2 tsp
Sugar-1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Tomato-2
Fresh Cream/Milk-1/2 cup
Ginger & Garlic paste-1 tbsp
Garam Masala Pwdr-1/2 tsp
Kashmiri Red chilli pwdr-1 tsp
Methi Leaves-1 tsp
Cashew-3
Butter-2 tbsp
Cumin-1/2 tsp
Sugar-1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
- Roughly chop tomato ,grind tomato and cashew into fine paste.
- In a pan add butter once it melts ass cumin and fry for 10 sec, then add G&G Pste and cook for 20 sec in medium low to avoid burning.
- Now add the ground tomato puree,turmeric ,salt and cook till all the water evaporates.
- Now add garam masala,red chilli powder,methi leaves and cook for 15 secs.Then add 1 cup of water and allow it to boil.
- When it starts to boil add the paneer give a quick stir and close the lid ,cook for 5 mins till oil float on top.
- Now add the fresh cream/milk and keep stirring.
- Allow it to boil for 2 mins and add sugar ,mix well and switch it off.
Notes:
- I used frozen panner & cream so ,i soaked paneer in hot water for 5 mins.
- This is a quick and easy version of paneer butter masala i make for Vnd's Lunch box.
