Ingredients
Raw rice| normal rice -1/2cup
Moongdal-1/2 cup
Cashew-6 to 7
Green chilli-1
Curry leaves-few
Crushed ginger -few
mustard-1 tsp
Cumin(Jeera)-1tsp
Pepper-1tsp
Ghee-2 tbsp

Ghee-2 tbsp
Method:
- Wash the rice and dal pressure cook it for 3 whistle.
- Chop cashew ,green chilli and ginger.
- Once the pressure is release add salt and mix the cooked rice and dal well.
- In a pan add ghee then mustard ,once it splutters add cumin and pepper ,then add ginger, cashew and green chilli
- Once the ginger is fried well in oil ,add curry leaves and switch off flame.
- Add this to the rice and dal mixture and mix well.
Notes:
- Make sure to serve when it is hot
- Serve hot with sambar or chutney.
