Raw Mango Rice | Mango Rice | Mangai Sadam

Mango rice is simple and easy rice which u can prepare in less than 10 mins.Perfect for left over rices.

Raw Mango Rice

Preparation Time:10 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients


Raw mango -1 cup (grated)

Rice- 1 1/2 to 2 cup(depends on your preference for tanginess)

Mustard - 1/2 tsp

Channa dal-1 tsp

urad dal-1 tsp

Peanut -1 tbsp

Hing/Asafoetida-a pinch

G.chilli-1

Red chilli-2

Curry Leaves-few

Ginegelly oil/Sesame oil-2 tbsp

Method:

    2 add
  1. In a hot pan add oil and temper it with (musatrd,urad dal,channa dal,peanut,red chilli,green chilli,hing,curry leaves) one by one.
  2. 2 add
  3. Once it fryed well add turmeric and grated mango and cook for 2- 3 mins .once done add salt at last then mix well and switch off.
  4. 2 add
  5. Now add the rice to it and mix well .

Notes:

  • Suits well for day before left over rice(if you have left over rice refrigeratore and use it for this).
