 Got bored of usual potato masala and chutney's for dosa.Try this mushroom masala to spice your taste buds....   


Mushroom Roast

Ingredients


Mushroom - 1 pack

Onion-2(medium)

Tomato-1/2

Garlic-2

Ginger-2

Chilli Powder-1 tsp

Garam Masala-1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp

Cumin-1/4 tsp

Fennel-1/2 tsp(Sombu)

Coriander leaves

Salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Chop mushroom,onion and tomato
  2. 2 add
  3. In a pan add oil, once hot add cumin and fennel fry for 10 secs,then add onion and cook till transperant
  4. 2 add
  5. Now add tomato,some salt and give a quick stir and close the lid .Cook till tomato is mushy.
  6. 2 add
  7. Now add the garam,chilli,turmeric powder and fry for 1 min.Add the mushroom ,mix well and cook for 2-3 mins
  8. 2 add
  9. The mushroom start leaving water as in the pic.Cook till water evaporates.
  10. 2 add
  11. Garnish with coriander and serve with crispy dosa.

Notes:

    • Add or reduce chilli pwdr as per taste.
    • For variation add peas /carrot,beans/potato/boiled channa with mushroom
