Broad Beans Porriyal

Ingredients
Broad beans -200 gm
Small onion -6 to 7
Tomato-1/2
Curry leaves-7 to 8
Sambar powder-1 tbsp
Urad dal-1/2 tbsp
Chana dal-1/2 tbsp
Mustard, Salt and oil

To Grind
Peanut/ground nut-2 tbsp
Jeera/cumin-1/2 tbsp
Pepper-10
Dry red chilli-1
Jeera/cumin-1/2 tbsp
Pepper-10
Dry red chilli-1
Method:
- Dry roast peanut, cumin, pepper, red chili and once it reaches room temperature,grind it into powder.
- Chop onion ,tomato and bbroad beans .In a pan, add oil and splutter mustard and add urad dal and channa dal,once it turns brown,add curry leaves and onion and fry till transparent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook till mushy,then add broad beans and cook in medium flame by covering the lid for 2 mins(if need sprinkle some water).
- Now add the sambar powder,salt and mix well,let it cook for 5 more mins.
- Now add the ground powder and mix well.Add required salt,cook fr 1 more min .Once done add some corianderand remove from flame.
- Serve hot with Rice or Curd rice.
Notes:
- If you have ready made jeera and pepper powder, you can grind peanut only and add it
